The Powerful Pikachu are coming at you in 2015!

Welcome back to the wonderful members of team Powerful Pikachu in room 20 at Rowandale School.

Kia Ora, My name is Janelle Longstaff and I have the privilege of leading the Powerful Pikachu in 2015.

I am very excited to share our learning journeys this year and have enjoyed the positive start to the year in week 1 of the term.

It has been a very busy start to the term with team Pikachu. We needed to create our name, class treaty and begin some branding art (photos to come in week 2).

We read the book 'The Tree Hut Treaty' written by Wiremu Grace. Together we discussed why it was important to have a class treaty and what things we needed to agree to have in our class treaty. Team Powerful Pikachu came up with some awesome ideas for our treaty and I look forward to the discussions to come about how we can use our treaty daily in class. 

Powerful Pikachu 2015 week 1 term 1- "We 'pik-a-chu-se' to lead by example" 

We have already had some excited visitors from the 2014 Mighty Minions who are looking forward to seeing what the Powerful Pikachu are learning this year.

SWIMMING:

We are very excited to have class swimming on the following days:

Mondays and Wednesdays at 10.45-11.10
Tuesdays at 9.55-10.20

If you would like to come and watch or assist with swimming you are most welcome.
