Each student has been doing some research about Anzac Day and World War 1 in particular.

The Powerful Phoenixes reading group created some information posters as part of their literacy assignment. They first needed to do some research using books and the internet. Then they drafted information and designs in their books before publishing on Comic-Life on the computers.

We also created a reef for our school Anzac assembly ceremony

We are really interested in discovering more information about Anzac day and the world wars over the next two weeks.

- write a paragraph describing how your family commemorate Anzac day
- Research what countries were the major powers during World War 1
- Create a poem about Anzac day or the war- get your family members to help you.
